This is the first all-wheel drive system that distributes the optimum amount of power not only between the front and rear wheels, but also between the left and right rear wheels. Based on driver input and driving conditions, SH-AWD independently distributes engine torque between front and rear wheels, to optimise traction when either accelerating or decelerating.
